"When spring came [in Paris] there were no problems except where to be happiest."
I highly recommend A Movable Feast by Ernest Hemingway to everyone. It's absolutely amazing. And I don't want to hear any of the "Oh I hate Hemingway, he's such a sexist, and I hated Old Man and the Sea." Because if you are using those excuses, you are a dumbass, and the only other thing you've read by him is The Sun Also Rises, which is also really good, but not his best, and everyone really loves hating that book, for some reason. SO if you have a grudge against Hemingway, get over it, because he's an incredible writer, and you are really missing out on some great literature, and even his wives who had to put up with his drunk, masogonistic ass only have nice things to say about him. You can read their books.
THere would be more, but I just lost a huge journal entry and I'm pissed.
